How do I achieve weightloss like this?

There are a LOT of steps someone would have to take to lose that much weight.

However, the steps to lose 5 pounds or 500 pounds are all, essentially the same. There is NO quick fix to lose a lot of weight in a short period of time. Two pounds off a week is a safe way to lose weight that will stay off.

Try to set realistic goals for yourself, if you need to loose a hundred pounds, set your goal for 25 pounds, and celebrate when you reach that goal, and then make the next goal 50, and then your last goal will be 25. make small life changes, try adding good food choices instead of thinking about subtracting bad food choices. Add a small side salad to your dinner, grab fruit or veggies with your lunch as well as other things. Try to eat the healthier foods before the foods you might think are bad for you, so you fill up on the good for you stuff but you don't deny yourself what you really enjoy.

Drink more water, drink green tea. Never drink soda, Avoid sugary juices and go for natural unsweetened juices, (I promise it's still sweet enough!) try brewing your own green tea at home (make a lot and store it in the fridge, add some fruity flavored teas or lemon, try to avoid adding a lot of sugar.) the bottled teas you can get at stores aren't as bad as soda but they can contain a lot of sugar or artificial ingredients too.

there's a lot of really good advice on how to lose weight on this site, on the internet.

anything that will make you lose weight really fast will have a rebound effect. you can starve yourself for a week and lose 10 pounds but if you eat the next week you'll gain 20 back because your metabolism slowed down. You can take diet pills or take drugs that can give you a multitude of health issues, some much more lethal than being overweight, and even if you do lose weight really fast on those pills, you have to keep taking them, they are expensive and very unhealthy and even if they are over the counter diet pills, you will end up addicted to them, or you will put all the weight (and more) on right after stopping.

Don't mistake my warning against any diet pill, just the flashy ones that promise unrealistic goals.

Supplements can greatly help with weight loss, get your vitamin levels right in your body and your body will start working better.

Just be cautious of trying to lose weight too fast, it's always better to lose weight slowly. Some basic guidlines to follow that helped me at least.

1. Add natural whole food to your diet, focus on trying new foods instead of worrying about what you aren't 'allowed' to eat
2. Find exercise that is fun for you. Basketball, yoga, dancing, headbanging or jumping around to heavymetal. Get a dog that will force you to take it on walks. Exercise is not always get your work out clothes on, get your equipment, go to the gym and torture yourself for an hour or so drenching yourself with sweat" Try itemizing your every movement. If you play frisbee, that's exercise, if you have stairs go up and then back down and back up instead of just up once, walk to the local store you usually drive to, park farther back from the stores, you get the idea. If you praise yourself for the little workouts you do, you'll feel better about yourself and better about exercise in general.
3. Avoid white stuff! White bread white rice white sugar, anything bleached and processed. Whole grain options are so much better. Trying to avoid overly processed foods in general can have a huge effect.
4.Don't set your goals based on other people around you. Base your goals on YOU. There is always someone who is stronger, faster, skinnier, loses weight faster or gains muscle faster than you will, the worst thing you can do is downplay your own improvement because it isn't as impressive as the person's next to you. Focus on how you feel, how you have improved, keep a journal tracking improvements, measure your waist, don't weigh yourself. For me I do yoga, after a month I can hold a posture that before I could not, I compliment myself for that achievement, I don't beat myself up over the fact it took me a month to do what the person next to me took a week to do.

A lot of it is in the mind before it takes any effect on the body.

most of what I said is very vague and more geared to the mentality of losing weight. Browse around for exercise plans or diet changes that might suit you better.

Rockerman46, it's probably a good idea to describe yourself in fair detail, otherwise it's difficult to answer such a complex question.
