I did a few things for myself this week in order to help the fat losing process along!
a) replaced the dead batteries on my scale
b) bought 2 pairs of new athletic shoes! (meant to buy one, but got a good deal)
c) went on a huge grocery shopping trip so I can eat healthier at home, and avoid eating out.
d) registered here!
e) trying to get a friend to register here as well! (he said he would, still trying. haha)

1.) I bought an outfit that I wanted to fit in when I reached my goal and a scale

2.) I immediately tossed out all junk from my fridge and cabinets. It was so hard to toss out food. I hate throwing away food knowing there are homeless and hungry people out there.

3.) I wrote down my goals

4.) I took pictures of myself so that I can see my progression

5.) I read books and downloaded self improvement audios. They were very inspirational and I felt so confident all of a sudden. I felt that I can really be in better control of my life.

6.) Wrote down my reasons why I was changing my life

7.) I made a plan of how I will actually change my life

8.) Recruited my husband

9.) Started learning all I can about good healthy living (still always learning something new)

10.) Decided to start eating healthy and exercising that very day (none of that "I'll start Monday" stuff)

...and we've never looked back since. It's been 1 year.

i bought alot of cook books which have a cal amount for each meal, i only cook the things that are 300 or less cals.

started buying fruit instead of treats.

stoped goin to the pub.

joined this website.

started watching weight loss shows .

i joined the gym 6 weeks in after loseing 14lbs and i`m gettin stricter and stricter with food each week.

tossed the idea of trying around for a while. Then found a spreadsheet online that you can track your weight loss. That was what pushed me to start.

I track my weight and my exercise but not food.

You're all the greatest.
I moped and cried and whined and bitched and was like, "BOOO, NO MORE DONUTS.", and then just started.

I've kinda been doing the things you all talk about having done NOW, as I'm seeing results.

Nice list, Emerald! (and thanks everyone else for posting too!) I ate most of the junk in my house preparing for this! I still have a bag of donuts in the freezer. I'll eat them, but I now have more will power and I'll be able to split it up between a few days!
