How can i lose weight???

Hey, i am 15, 185 pounds and 5'8...i am looking for an experienced person to give me some ideas on how i can lose weight. I used to go to the gym every day and lift weights and run 2 miles, but now i don't have any time to go to the gym except for on sundays because I have lacrosse practice everyday can any one give me some ideas on a diet or some way to lose weight?

tips; more water, tea, or coffee to drink; less fat (fries, saturated fat, burgers). more veges, fruits; have fun with it; try not to eat before bed; less desserts, maybe yogurt with granola as a subsitute; good luck;
 
playing lacross every day seems like it would be enough exercise. It seems like a farily faced pace game. Diet seems to be the key. Jeffmendasoars has some good tips. I dont believe in 'dieting' so much as having a 'good' diet. (some might argue that this just means you're constantly on a diet). Eat foods that will keep you fuller for longer (protein). Less carbs (but dont cut them out completely), lots of veggies and fruits.

Some other tips which are not quite proven are to drink green tea (I read this in an article), and only eat as much as your two hands cupped together. (this is supposed to be how big your stomach is).

Also, I hear if you drink a glass of water before you eat, then another one hour after then you wont get as hungry... im still testing it.

Oh but I just realise that you're only 15, so i would deprive myself of food - you're still growing! Snack on healthy things instead - green stuff will fill you up without all the calories (thats why often yo usee vegetarians eating alot but staying slim)

The best way to lose weight is to have a healthy diet & at least 30 minutes of exercise.Stop dieting & drink more water.

You can lose your weight by proper exercise and have a lot of water usage along with the proper diet and by the usage of green tea also...... you will find it really working by using the green tea and also fresh veggies and have cardio also specially swimming can help you better....

Find the time

Finding the time to workout is the most important step. Without a daily routine, your workouts will slip between the cracks. Heres an article to help with that.
