That is correct.

Anyone have advice on how to lose that much or some at least, I am generally healthy but what a bit of a kick?

Help......

if you do a search on this site you'll see your question is one of the most asked on these and other forums. realistically you will not lose that type of weight from your midsection in such a short time period. to get a flat abdomen you will need to really adjust your diet and exercise. and you'll lose weight all over, there is no way to target just the midsection, despite what pills and exercises promise. myself, i run 30 minutes every morning on the treadmill, and then alternate with days of leg lifts, crunches, pushups, and reverse pushups. i also stick to an under a 1500 calorie a day diet. if you seriiously want to lose the weight you'll have to make some adjustments. not everyone on these forums agrees with everyone else about how to stay healthy, but i believe everyone does agree that it takes work and will power to achieve results. so start that cardio, replace all sodas, junkfood/fastfood & candy with lot's of water, whole grains, cereals, maybe whey protein shakes, veggies, salads with light dressing, fish, chicken - all in moderate proportions, and you'll lose some of what you're trying to lose by the date you quoted. and maybe all of it eventually. good luck!

Eat only fruits(strawberry, pineapples, oranges, apples, kiwi, and watermelon), veggies(cabbage, broccoli, spinach, asparagus, salad), fish and chicken. Drink only water, green tea and coffee(if you want). And work out at least 2hrs a day(cardio & sit ups).

if you can do 2 hours a day, great, but if not you'll still make some great progress with 30 minutes of cardio a day, too - like maybe the treadmill.

one must not forget the importance of complex carbs like sweet potatoes, brown rice, and oatmeal OR healthy fats like natural peanut butter, olive oil, and raw nuts in aiding weight loss.

working-out 2 hours a day? doing sit-ups everyday? Are you serious? Totally unnecessary

Depending on your current lifestyle, it may be possible to lose 1/2 stone. However, there's no way to say where from your body the fat will go - it's all up to genetics.

As Shimmering said, this is the most common question asked on these forums - why don't you do a search, read through them, and then post a thread with more details and specifics?

I lost 7 Pounds in 8 days by running on the treadmill 6 out of those 8 days, 2 miles, riding my bike on saturday and sunday (mountain biking while really kicks your ass) and just eating really really healthy. Nothing past 8pm. I had about 4-5 meals a day, smaller meals. And drank a ton of water. Also went to the gym, depending on the body group I worked out, 1-2.5 hours a night. Its very possible you just have to watch what you eat. I worked my abs 3 days a week.

It wouldn't hurt, would it? I heard Usher doing 500-1000 sit-ups every single day.

The person wants to lose the weight FAST, so there is no reason not to do 2hrs of cardio each day.

Actors and Actresses train 2-3hrs a day for their new roles.
