Hello,

My name is Sophie I'm 22 years old and i have 3beautiful children twin boys and a girl! I have been struggling with my weight for most of my life and have had the 'i'll start tomorrow' attitude towards it, i know this is not the way to be but i just have not had the motivation to do anything about it and i've picked a slice of pizza over a carrot stick. I am terrified of working hard to do this and not getting anywhere with it, i wondered if anyone can give me some starter tips because it really does start tomorrow this time!

Thank-you in advance!

One of the best ways to get started is to start a diary (check out the diary section for what others have written if you need help getting started). It will help make yourself accountable for what you eat (since that IS half the battle). You can also try taking your kids for a walk, once / day. Sets a good example for them and get some fresh air (which will help tire the kids out). One of the ladies on our street goes for a walk with her 3 kids at the same time every day. Does about 5 or 6 laps around the block. It's something she's put in her day like eating lunch. It's just something that has to be done above everything else.

First of all i would say welcome to the forum lady. Dont be scared to share your experience here. we are here to help you. I would be sharing a great tip with you for now as a starter. all you need is a little motivation. A good way is to stock up your home with great aerobic music so that you can dance all day long, plus stuff up some machines around you and put up big charts of diet plan on your walls and doors. Giving yourself this environment would surely cut down your I WILL DO TOMORROWS attitude hopefully.
