Hey

I may be coming from left field here but I was wondering if anyone has heard of an audio track for IPOD's or MP3 players with a HITT session on it... Im not even sure if there is such a thing but im thinking it would a lot easyer to keep track of the amount of time of sprinting and resting, kind of like the "Beep" test in highschool.

Thanks

I think I understand what you mean. If so, what you are "suggesting" is a great idea. Anyone with some audio editing software could do such a thing, btw. Basically you want a file that will beep or play certian things at specific times in the "file", on the mp3 player, to allert you at which times you need to change intensity.

The easiest thing to do is to just get a heart rate monitor with a built in alarm for intervals. That will do exactly what you're looking for, without having to jack up your music.

TomO uses something called cardio coach for his interval training sessions, he seems to enjoy it. I checked out the website, and they have free samples of the music. its actually not bad, most of the music is pretty well selected for the various paces. Though I am not a big fan of having some guy cheering me on while i am running, lol. They do have some made by a female, if only it came with a poster or something to put out in front of you...lol. Might get you breathing hard before your workout even began.

Try a web search for cardio coach, and see if it is to you liking.
