Hip pain, any idea what this could be

Over the summer I was riding my mountain bike down a hill and had to hop over the bars. I landed on one foot and kind of jammed my hip. It hurt a little before that and a little after but now that school has started it is really annoying. I am on my feet for about 8 hours and this will soon increase to 10. The pain seems to be on the front an in the hip socet and is really nagging. I hate to take anything for the pain because it is bearable and I have read it will hinder my weight room gains. Any ideas what this could be? Anything that I can take that may ease the pain? I already take a flax/fish (omaga 3/6/9) oil supplement
The (not so) funny thing is I just got over a nagging shoulder problem that really kind of hurt my upper body workouts
 
It sounds like a hip stress fracture there i'm afraid and if that's the case it will take some time away from any sort of exercise. I would go check it out if in your position

Definitly not what I wanted to hear :(

I think I am going to take the rest of the week off from the gym and if I don't see any improvements go see the doc next week. I was thinking tendon ligament damage because the bike accident was probably 2 or 3 months ago and it just started to bother me again when school started up. It does seem like any type of twisting is bad news for it though
 
take care of it mate, i know it's frustrating but you have to deal with it, you need to know exactly what's wrong with it and fast. All the best
