HIIT help

Hi guys, I'm looking at getting into HIIT and I have a few questions. So far I'm thinking of doing about 200m sprint, then 50m walk for 8 sets every day. Is that too little? would I be overtraining? would I injure myself if I did it with a 1.5kg weight in each hand, or would that be a good way to help maintain some muscle?
 
i learned to do HIIT, with my jog in the mornin time. i do a walk first, then sprint really hard then i walk again, then sprint hard again. and i have seen a big dif in how it has helped me lose bf from my upper thihgs. and as i girl, that is very hard to do. yet with JC, i can do anything
