HIIT after lifting?

Ive been doing circuit workouts 3 days a week and ive been doing interval running after these workouts. should i be running on the same day as my workouts or should i run on my off days? i can always ride the stationary bike for a while after my workouts... what do you think? im trying to shave some pounds off my chubby ass...

Alot of people think that doing HIIT after a workout is too much for your body and will wear on you over time - the suggestion is usually to do it a couple of days a week on your off days.
 
ive been doing like 30 mins on the stationary bike after my workouts. low intensity. is that ok? ive been interval running on my non-lifting days...
