Found this site on google! I like it so after 500 attempts of trying to sign up with that captcha passcode thing i finally got in! :smilielol5:

Well... my names Andrew.....i'm 19..... i'm 6'3"........wait for it...........and.......... 322 pounds!!!!! :ack2: (23 stone!)

Ive kinda joined for some advice, wondered if you guys could give me any...

I've just purchased a shiny new treadmill, and as from about 4 days ago i've been doing an hour fast walking in the morning, and an hour at night. It tells me I've burned 400 calories that day. Is that good for a start??? Obviously my consumption matters, im not sure how much im consuming but i am being very careful, im eating grapefruit for breakfast, and having salads for lunch without any sauces or anything bad - im avoiding things like high carbs, breads, anything that has too many carbs/fats!! i try to stay to meals that are under 200 calories.

any advice to how i am going so far??

Re: Andrew

Hey and welcome! Great job on the two hours of walking a day! Keep it up and you will see results in no time. There are so many more qualified people on this forum to answer you concerning your calorie/food intake. It does seem a little low, and you prob. need more protein. I'll let someone else take that question though! Don't want to steer you wrong...I'm still learning! Glad you joined!!!! Keep up the great work!!

Hey,

Welcome.

Sounds like a great start. How many meals do you have a day?

Just be careful not to trigger your body to start storing fat.

To boost metabolism, do not skip any meals. Eat 5-6 small meals during the day. Starving will slow down your metabolism

Good Luck
