Hello,

How tall are you? A weight without a height isn't very helpful :)

Without delving too deeply, the fact is, if you exercise AND eat healthily you will lose weight. Perhaps you are eating healthily but your portions are too big? Perhaps you think some foods are healthy when they aren't? It's hard to find an answer without knowing exactly what you are doing.

I'd suggest starting a food diary on this forum. It allows other users to see what you are doing. Especially if you are having problems like yourself. If you are completely honest (and what would you get out of lying?) with exactly what you eat and how much exercise you do then people should be able to spot the flaw in your current diet (and there will be one, else you'd be losing weight!).

FYI: Diet will do more for your weightloss than exercise in my experiance, so the key is probably there.

Good luck.

Hi Becky, can you please give us a bit more info on what you eat on a daily basis and which part of your body would you like to lose weight. So that it is easy for people here to help you.

I think you have reached the point of losing the stubborn fat. Sorry to say, they don't give up that easy :(

I'm going to intrude, hope you don't mind.
I was in a similar boat a few months ago; I was around getting so close to the body I wanted but couldn't drop my fat. I was reading in forums like this and discovered information on a book called The New Rules of Lifting. I purchased that book on my iphone and have been following the fat loss plan with interval speed training. Since starting that scheduled workout 6 weeks, or so, ago (Sept 29th) I have lost 4 lbs but even more importantly I have 4.5 inches since my last (Sept 29th) measurements. I feel amazing and am, per a few comments from people at my YMCA, looking very athletic. I still do more cardio than I should (but I love cardio) but it has been literally transforming my body.
Before changing up my workouts I had been doing cardio 5-6 days a week with an average of 2 hours of work per day. I did everything from step aerobics to cardio tennis to running to cycling to swimming to circuit training. At that point I had stopped losing weight completely and even started to feel fatter.
I don't know if this type of workout is for you or not but I can't believe how I look now. Never in my life did I ever think I could lose my "saddle bags" or my arm pit fat but I have been steadily losing all fat even my calves look leaner (I didn't know I even had fat on my calves).
Just my 2 cents. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.
