Hi, I came here for motivation and diet tips because i really need to lose some weight. Actually, not some..a LOT. Ok well maybe like 80 pounds. Nooo that is a lot. :'(

80lbs isn't a huge number -it can be accomplished... Wake that foot up and get cracking- one foot in front of the other iw what will get you to where you want to be
80 pounds seems like a large amount...but it's not nearly as large as it seems if you just lose it the same way you gaine it...3-5 pounds at a time.
I know I felt overweight, but not obese when I began my weight loss journey. My original goal was only 25 pounds, but as I reached that goal my next goal seem reachable...only 10 more pounds. Now I'm down almost 50 and it wasn't as insurmountable a task as I thought it was.
may i ask what your goals are??? what kind of exercise do you do??? or considering your main problem is laziness, you dont do any exercise??? jk jk lol

The people on here are nice and helpful. I would recommend spending some time in the stickies to see what has really worked and what hasn't. Also, start a diary and people will help you with what's going on with your goals specifically.

Im no doctor but from experience...the laziness is a symptom of the weight....In my case the laziness was also a symptom of depression. You can be lazy and still lose weight..DONT HATE PPL! I couldnt find the motivation to get active because I was carying all the extra weight. You can just focus on one thing at a time. Right now focus on your eating only and I guarantee you'll see results..once you lose some weight youll start to feel a little more energetic then you can get active when you feel comfortable with it. I also found that If I just chose one thing a week to change it all starts to add up. one week foucus on not drinking Soda or Juice or Fatty coffee drinks then the next week try to cut out something else like a certain snack food and the next week try to get your 8 - 8oz glasses of water in and soo on... Hope this helps
