High Fibre diet

So I started off eating high fibre most of the time and after 2-3weeks I got sever constipation I was in extreme pain and ate grapes to ease the pain.I was dizzy and all that I had lost over 14lbs .I got sick recently from eating lunch too early in the day :( Im still on a high fibre diet low protein.
 
Hello yellowducky, can you tell me exactly what your high fiber diet routine consists of. I have found that high fiber diets progress better along with a high fluid intake, preferably water. This increases the filling aspects of the routine while practically monitoring the level of your fiber intake sufficiently to prevent intestinal binding. Also believe it or not periodic fasting also aides the body in monitoring of body mass issues. Keep the fluid intake up at a relatively steady pace but keep it in context of your normal daily activities and routine. In other words, your body will monitor its own needs for the water and eliminate excess as frequently as necessary. This is just a start; get back to me with any specifics of concern and feedback on progress. You should see improvement quickly. All the best toward your success and progress.
 
Oh that's bad... I don't know if you know or not but taking too much fiber in the diet can cause constipation, gas and bloating. You can ease any of these discomforts by increasing your fluid intake, exercising, and making simple dietary changes. One should not eat more than 70 grams (g) of fiber a day.
 
I had the same issue at some point and discovered that it happens when your gut flora is not adapted for a high fibre diet. What I did is that I started making homemade fruit kefir, kombucha and fermented food to rebalance my gut flora and be able to increase my fibre intake. I went very slowly with these fermented beverages and food because your body can react if you are not used to it. It can take a long time to rebalance the gut flora but it is definitely worth it because it also helps your immune system. You can find many videos about how to prepare these things on YouTube.

But from my point of view, fiber diet cures constipation. Sometimes, a high fiber diet can cause bloating.
 
I think you should not take more than 80-90 gm of fiber daily. And it will be more beneficial if you soluble fiber. Drink more and more fluids about 10-12 glasses daily.
