I'm Mercedes and I've had weight problems since I was a child. I've decided that it's time for me to look after myself and to stop abusing my body with food if I want to live a long and healthy life. As I get older I'm starting to notice little problems I have from being significantly overweight and it's time to change now. I have no idea how I'm going to do this, the road seems so long, but I am ready for the challenge and I know it's in my best interest.
 
Hey there! Just admitting that there's a problem and wanting to become healthier is a big step so far. :) There are loads of ways to lose weight and become healthier-- just look around the forums, or different places on the internet (Google is my best friend when I'm looking for tips, or looking for weight loss blogs), try some different things, find whatever works for you. It's really a trial and error sort of thing, since everyone is different.

Like Kenziderhae said, Google is the best place to start looking for information. There are thousands of diets/workout plans out there and not all of them work for everyone! It may be that you have to try a few before you find the right one for you. In the mean time, you might want to make some small changes like cutting down on fizzy drinks/sodas and chocolate, junk food...whatever! It all helps!
