I've just joined this site because I'd really like to get serious about getting back into shape!
I'm 25 years old and a college student. I'm not sure why, but something in the combination of a new medication, some really difficult classes, and other stressful situations caused me to gain about 20 or 30 pounds just this last school year. Mostly due to poor eating habits, just really slacking off on my usual healthy eating and exercise pattern. It's almost like I'm making up for all the years that I've chosen not to eat junk food, I've eaten so, so much of it lately!
I used to track my weight pretty regularly, and since I was about 18, I've maintained my weight in the 110-120 range. Now, I think I'm close to 140, though I've been too afraid to check again since I last did a month ago, so it may be higher now. So I hope to lose the extra fat again, get back on track, and hopefully writing about it on a website will be of help or something!
