Newbie to the site, thought i'd join and hopefully motivation will rub off!

I have 70lb to lose and hope to shift on average 14lb every two months, hope it's not too adventurous, will be hoping to kick start that with exercise - but I am a bit rusty in that department!

In terms of weight loss, I'd shoot for a weekly rate of 1% of total weight.

Some weeks may be higher, some lower. But your calorie intake should keep the trend at roughly this rate.
