Hi

First off let me say, nice board. From all the posts I've looked at i can tell that there are allot of people here that are serious and extremely helpful when it comes to fitness.

Ok my story. Well about four months ago (early September) I decided it was time to get in shape, i was 5'11 and 220 pounds (that was after losing about 10 pounds during the summer). Thanks to a little help from my girlfriend i got up the nerve to start hitting my university gym. In the three months that followed i was able to change almost my entire lifestyle, i started eating much healthier with out having to ever go on a diet. I cut out a lot of my bad habits, like beer, which i still enjoy but only in moderation. But most importantly i was able to make myself much more active, less lazy and more open to new things.

As of today i'm down to 170 pounds. I'm at a new gym now, and I've shifted my focus away from shedding the pounds to gaining muscle, which i made sure i was doing well i was losing weight the last 4 months.
