HI everyone! My name is Michele and I am a recently married girl from NY! I am so happy to finally find another weightloss forum since the last one I visited was shut down.

In 2005 I was at my highest weight and then was when I decided I had to do something. So, I did. I joined the gym, stuck to a high protein low carb diet and the pounds melted off. I dropped 6 dress sizes going from a 16 to a 4. I maintained very well over the years UNTIL....

I got married this past April. Before the wedding, I lost weight. I was a nervous wreck trying to make sure everything was perfect. After the wedding, I was finally relaxed and started cooking and eating with my Husband and just being very comfortable. NOT that is a bad thing. Then a honeymoon to Europe doesn't help either. OH and it was a cruise! LOL. So you could imagine how off track I was.

I managed to gain 7 pounds. It's not bad AT ALL. I didn't even go up a dress size- THANK GOD! However, what brings me here is that I need to get back on track before I get big again. Since being marrried, I am very content just going home after work and just cooking dinner and relaxing with the Husband.

Before, I was either going to the gym before work or after work. I need some motivation back! Desperately! I hope this forum can help me as much as I need to help myself!
