it's not about "diet foods" persay.
You need to know exaclty what your putting into your body.
I didn;t realize how much of an effect everytihng I ate had on me until I bgan weighing myself on a daily basis and watching the numbers on the scale change based on the food I ate the day before.
Read labels. And don't jsut watch calories, watch sodium, carbs, and sugar.
You don't want more then about 375 mg of sodium a sitting, 20 grams of carbs nand the less sugar the better.
Or even better eat fresh foods only.
It sounds expensive but its easy! Buy some whole wheat wraps, lettuce, cheese, and veggies and you have lunch for the week! (Chicken would be a good protein to throw in your wrap as well)
Try to stick with fruit for breakfast because it digests so quickly giving your body the chance to work on your next meal.
and for dinner have starch, fats, protein and veggies. it's easy to eat fresh foods and cost effective if you plan ahead.
