Hi

I have lost lots of weight over the last four years. I'm looking to build some muscle now with out a lot of fat gain in the process. I'm 47, male, 6"2 and about 175 lbs. I'm after more upper body strength and endurance and decent abs. Oh yeah, and I love to cook and love to eat.

Without getting into many specifics...exercise your muscles and then provide them with adequate nutrition to grow...try and maintain a slight calorie surplus (it really helps with gaining muscle) and you'll limit fat deposition.

What type of weightlifting program are you using?

I haven't been lifting much at all lately. Had been going to the gym for full body workout 3x week for about a year until this last summer. Now that the days are getting short, I'm ready to go back. Mostly just pushups and lunges at home the last few weeks. I barely eat at maintenance and I know I will have to up my intake and get back in the gym if I'm going to gain any mass.

Check out the "TECIPIE" section here and also doaries people post some great ideals for food and keeps ya trying different varieties.GL Tammy
