Hello everyone, I am new to this site and am very excited to join in the fitness.com community. I love learning about health and fitness and incorporating these ideas into my own life. I struggle with my eating habits and am looking for some sound advice as to how to overcome things such as cravings, etc.

A healthy diet can often be very difficult to stick to. It's a lot of dedication and portion control. Certain bad foods are not always so bad if you portion the amount you have.
 
i feel like i have the knowledge of what i need to eat, how much my body burns, i keep a diet and workout journal...i know what to do but i don't do it when it counts. i just know that it's the bit of indulgences that are keeping me from my goals. thanks for your word of encouragement though!
