Hi my name is Bernadette, I'm from the UK.
I have been overweight since I was nine years old, I am 25 now and I want to do something about it; last week I changed my eating habits, cutting out all the crap including sugar and fizzy drinks, and I excersise every day, even if it is something simple like walking the dog or going for a jog around the block.
I have already lost 2 pounds in the last week, and I am currently at 201 at 5"8 inches tall, and my goal is to reach 154 lb :)

wooooo hooo another life to change :D welcome to the forum and congrats on the weight loss.....i am looking forward to hearing updates on your journey

your not here for us chick....you are here for you
:D and we are here for you.....you gotta get that outta your mind though screw other people and what they think do this for you.....
have you ever wondered why its so hard for you to believe in you?
when some one believes in you....YOU win
but when YOU believe in YOU EVERBODY WINS!!!

I can see you're all great motivators! Thanks for your supportive words!

I've tried all kinds of fad diets and things before, and I always fall off the wagon after a few weeks, but I really want to stick this through to the end, and I know that when I do reach my goal I want to stick to being healthy.

I hope I can be a good motivator for others also :)
