Hi guys!! :D

Well i've been on here before but then lost track and havn't been on in a while :S So have decided now that it is time to get off my lazy ass and do something!

I am 19, Female and from Plymouth, UK. I'm a university student and also a manual data entry keyer for Royal Mail. I currently weigh 266lb's and am aiming to be my old weight 150lb's. Huge goal but im positive i can get down to it. Little goals at a time will really push me. I started on monday and am so far doing really well. Weigh in day will be at the end of the month (i am going to resist temptation!!) and my goal for the 31st Jan is 256lb's.

I only have one main concern, and thats whats guna happen to all my excess skin!! Will it just spring back as im still quite young or will i still get some? Anybody help me out on this one??

Just looking for some help and support from this site as i know it's here as i've used the site before.

Good luck to us all! :D

Hi and welcome, i can help ya out with the support aspect but don't know what to say to you as far as the excess skin...Im glad to hear you are on your way and doing well, I look forward to monitoring your progress...good luck to you on your journey...

Hi Tanya :)

Welcome to the WLF!

You and I have similar starting goals, I was pretty close to 260 pounds when I woke up to the fact that it was time to get fit, healthy and lose the weight.

To be honest, my skin is definitely a little wrinkly - I notice it more then anyone else, but there is no doubt, I would rather have a few extra wrinkles, then be the weight I was.

But it's minor - AND I'm twice your age (ok, ok, more then twice your age!) I'm sure you'll be fine :D

Best of luck to you,

Ok, so today i have had

Breakfast: Bowl of special K
Lunch: 2 chicken breasts & 2 bits of bread
Tea: Bowl of special k

I probably wont have anything else now this evening. Good day for me :D x

Hi Tanya,
It might be a good idea to create a journal over in the diary sections so you can keep track of what you eat, your thoughts, etc and we can get to know you and foolow your journey as you reach your goals :)

Hi Tanya! I'm in the uk too, didn't think I'd find anyone else here!

I was 19 when I got rid of 6.43 stone or 90 pounds, and besides for some light white stretch marks on my tummy and thighs everything snapped back to where I wanted it to

Heya's Summer,
Welcome and goodluck to ya!
I was 255 I am at 199 alot of hard work and alot
of cheating or I could be further!! You'll do great
Have a great day,Tammy

One thing I have to ask though, what do you mean by resist temptation? Study after study is showing that daily or at least more frequent weigh-ins help slimming.

When losing weight before i found weighing myself everyweek wasnt really working for me as id say to myself oh iv lost weight ill have a treat. but a treat would turn into a binge so iv decided just for the minute i wont weigh myself everyweek.

weoght loss and weight maintenance

:) whatever you do, its the nutrition that plays a major role in weight management. Its like having the right fuel to drive your vehicle:

Calorie intake:- 2000-2200 for men and 1500-1800 for women
If you adhere to this parameter you can lose or gain weight by using cellular nutrition- available in 63 countries currently, only through authorised constants-replacing two of you meals with cellular nutrition and having one meal of your choice, plus drinking one liter of water for every 20ks=44lbs to lose weight 1 to 2 lbs per week and do maintenance for equal period of weight loss , replacing one meal a day with cellular nutrition and have two meas of your choice with water intake of one liter for every 44lbs of body weight, for you not to gain back what you lost.
