Hello Gemmaa, lovely to meet you too. I am new to this sort of thing so please forgive me if I get things wrong. I have just have just come across the Rice diet and if it does what it sayes it does Im all for it. I will be starting tommorow.... the BIG weigh in.!! Will let you know tommorrow.

Gemmaa, What are your goals? I would love to encourge/support where I can
 
I'm new too, so we're in it together!
I don't have any goal other than to do a little more exercise and hopefully lose a little weight to feel better about myself!
I'm not even weighing myself, I'm past that, I'm just going off how I look and how I feel.. that's what's really important after all!

I basically used to do ZERO exercise, and I'm trying to do at least 20 mins per day for a couple of weeks, then grandually build that up!

Weigh in Day 1 - Rice Diet

Hi Gemmaa

Started the Rice Diet today as I need a focus. The meal plan took a bit of getting used to but managed to do it all today. Suprising!! I did'nt feel hungry at all. I hope to contine with it. Also did 40mins walking this morning n 35min this evening, gonna try to exercise daily. Now the bad news ,I weighed in a 16stone - BMI 40.08. Felt like poop the heaviest I have ever been, but not going to let it get me down. Onwards and upwards.

My goal is to reach 12 stone by September. I shall be recording my progress daily.

OK, that's me done. How are you getting on, did you manage to do any exercises today? Whatever happened I hope you had a good day:) Yes your right how you look n feel is more important...
Oh! by the way do you know how to get one of those weight trackers? I think its a fun way to view your progress.

I am a little suprised at such a great loss. However I know about the water issue and muscle loss so will put it down to that. Did 40min walking this morning. Was too tired to do anything this evening. Lets see what happens tommorow.

Day 3 - Rice Diet

Xcellent. Funny, I did cheat yesterday n had some nibbles at work. Obviously not too much to affect the diet. The great thing is ' no headaches'. I have felt very well, not weak or hungry. The good thing about this diet is that it forces you to be creative with your choice of food thus making it more personal interesting and delicious especially when trying something new. However I am still in the early stages of the diet. The diet points out that you should stick to Phase I for a least a month...that may be difficult.

If anyone is on the diet and has any suggestions for meals in phase I please let me know.

This can't be true? Is this healthly, because I feel great!!! I love the eating plan. I never feel hungry in between meals. What else can I say.... only that it works for me.

Exercise : Did 30mins running on Wii Fit this morning. Had lots of energy.

Hi all, oh my gosh!! I have fallen off the track becasue it was my birthday and been away for a couple of days. Have I eaten? Well, yes but did not go mad I think!! To be honest I didnt feel like I needed to. Funny, if i was on any other eating plan I would have gone all out then felt disgusted with myself. I have still to weigh myself ..... not looking forward to it but will looking forward to starting again. There was one consolation, I managed to slip into a pair of 16 years with give as well!! I could'nt believe it, it seemed as if my body had shrunk all over and there was a definate change to the shape of my face. I was pleased as punch and becasue of that I am more determined to lose more and stay on this plan.

If there is anyone out there that wants to join me please do. Oh n don't be put off by the title Rice diet because you eat a varietyof food. Please give it a try you wont be dissapointed... and you will see results!!!

I will weigh myself tomorrow morning and start recording it daily for me and to give others hope
