Hi People:wave: I was/am a member of another forum but not happy with the way am being treated there so thought i'd try joining another, really just looking to get fit and healthy again:cool:!
I've been overweight now for the past 3yrs and have just about had it really want to get my health back currently am 5'3 and 92kg will b keeping a diary here so any advice and comments will b very appreciated:thumb:

Thanks everyone for the welcome:) not gonna name yet lol:D am still waiting on a reply from the moderater and if I don't get it I definitly will dish lol basically though people can leave me neg reps yet I can't leave for any members, obviously a technical gliche which nobody seems bothered to sort out, I like how in this forum you can't leave neg rep for conflicting views, good going:cool:!
It all started when a member posted a thread in the lounge with funny pics and everybody started chipping in with more funny ones which was funny yes, until one of the members started posting pics of kids like a baby girl reading a kids book and above it said 'f*** this i'm gonna b a stripper' etc etc which I found very distasteful yet other members thought it funny so I kept my mouth shut, and the guy kept posting stupid jokes all of which involving kids yet with an 'adult' theme.
then I finally snapped and replied when he posted one of a baby unclothed waist down with his 'bits' in a bowl of cereal in front of him, apparently the joke was did he pee in there or not, again everyone thought it funny except me.
sure it would have been funny had 'All' of his 'jokes' not involved kids and I found it very inappropriate posting a picture of a toddler and his 'buddy' on a fitness forum. He replied, insulting me for implying he be a perv and i replied back and he me etc and the whole thing got out of control with people giving me neg reps for not 'following the crowd'.
I reported the post of the toddler pic and it got removed only 2days later I get another neg rep on it so I contacted the mod again to ask how someone can give me a rep on a thread which I can't view via the link so thought it deleted, the guy tells me he didn't delete it but moved it to another part of the forum where only the people with a certain amount of reps have can go, like their own lounge.
Again the only two guys in there who were hurling abuse at me for speaking out against the pic being on the forum were both with more reps than me so allowed in the private lounge, needless to say I found that incredibly unfair and stupid for the mod not to delete the thread and move it to a place they can insult me more and I can't see or have an input, I still can't give them a neg rep back and I've asked to why again and am waiting on a reply, I had enjoyed that site till now.
Anyway..lol enough of the rant but that basically the story!
Thanks again for the welcome I just wanna get back fit and healthy thats all but will definitly speak out if I see that type of behaviour anywhere or I wouldn't b me! this seems like a perv-free and well controlled site though lol.
anyway back to the fitness I've put on weight 3yrs ago and am desperate to get my fit trim bod back so will b looking for inspiration! Thanks again for the welcome and support:cool:
 
Don't worry, this is a good site. I promise you'll like it here. Everyone is really nice. People generally don't give a lot of negative rep.

If you are interested in weight loss, check out the weight loss section of the forum. It may also be helpful for you to make a fitness diary/journal/log (whatever you want to call it). You can post your goals and progress and other people can help you out with specific things and such.

Thanks again Spicy and Tony for the welcome:) have started keeping a Journal now Spicy also put myself down on the compare weight loss chart:D
Tony no others can't view others reps on that site but members can view their own, I for example can view my own but for some reason can only give positive reps, a technical fault which nobody can be bothered to reply to, not that i'd even want to give a neg but if someone gave me one unreasonably then i'd want to return the compliment:D. Thanks again all you guys for the welcome and advice am jus so fed with being unhealthy....Enough! lol, Time to kick this booty into shape!:)
 
Well I got a reply from the other site and am told only people with the highest reps can give neg reps, apparently it's to prevent abuse(when all that these guy have been doing is hurling abuse at me) is that unfair or what, needless to say I won't b visiting there again! Hope u guys here don't have policies like that.

I've seen the 'f**k this I'm gonna be a stripper' pic before and it's funny. You called a guy a perv for posting funny pics of kids? No wonder you got neg repped.

If u read again what I wrote I said yes the jokes wouldve been funny and some were only the guys every 'joke' posted involved kids and all of them in adult themes, one is funny two r funny ten r funny but when someone posts more then 30 and 'all' of them involve kids and naked kids then no I didn't 'overeact' at all, and no u wouldnt know if I got fairly repped because u never saw the posts.
Yes I do hope I have a good time on this site I've replied to the question to why I left that site now prefer to jus drop the subject thanks.
 
Wow, don't take too much offence, I just see where they were coming from, calling someone a perv in relation to kids is a pretty big accusation.

Anyway, I've seen your posts on another forum and I like you, you've got more balls than most on this place and we need a few more people prepared to call it as they see it on here :)

LMAO, don't say that!! Most yanks already seem to think everyone from London knows each other, you didn't help dispel the myth there :)

But no, I'm not Ashton, I don't post on other forums, I read a lot but only post here 'cos it's the coolest ;)

Lol I think the yanks will figure out sooner or later London is a population of millions therefore impossible to know everyone;)lol

I'm still keeping a journal on other forums too but this is the only one with a weekly weight tracking feature so thats great:D will definitly b keeping a diary on here too:)!
 
Ok I know I joined a month or so ago but I haven't been here so thought i'd re-introduce myself:hug2:, went back to the other forum cos am a bit of a homebody and I like to stick to one forum and n one journal etc:rolleyes: and i'd been writing in a journal there for ages so didn't see the point of continuing another, but now i've PERMANENTLY ditched that place so am looking for a new fitness home:) hope you guys r alot friendlier and nice here:)! All I want to do is lose weight and get fit and I wanna keep a journal online to get advice and motivation.
Another feature I love on this site is the weight tracker, very cool:cool:!
So here I am now have chosen to b a regular member here, watchout for my journal and any input is appreciated:thumb:D!
 
Ok jus a quick question, when u get a rep how do u know if its a positive or neg? Because I got one but am confused about the comments made don't know what it is, its got a little green box at the beginning does that mean which one it is?? thanks:)

Click on userCP, and let the window open.

Scroll down to the "Last reputation" received. If its green it was a positive if its red its a negative.

ROCK ON!
