Hi, new here

I am 29 years old and have always struggled with managing my weight. I am 5'5" and weighed always about 138 pounds in high school (not overweight, but not skinny either). In my early 20s I gained a lot of weight (180 lbs at my heaviest) because my boyfriend at the time and I used to go out and eat and drink alcohol frequently. After we broke up, I got my weight down to 125 but I admit I didn't lose it in the healthiest way- I exercised a lot but also took diet pills. Now I am stable at ~132 lbs. I really want to get back to under 125 and maintain that weight. I want to do it in a healthy way though, by changing my lifestyle to a healthier one by improving my diet. I already do a lot of cardio exercise (especially running) but I want to incorporate more weight training as well. I am looking forward to tips and support on this site! :)

Welcome to the forum.

If you check out the exercise and nutrition sections you may find a few ideas for honing your food plan and improving your exercise routine.

It is also a good idea to check around and see what other people are doing - be it in diaries, clubs or challenges...
