hi everyone i am new here today and just wanted to tell you about myself. i am a mom of 3 the youngest is 9 months so i'm still trying to loose the baby weight and break bad habits. i have a real problem with portion control and i am addicted to sugar. i have tried low carb every day. i just can't get myself to stick to it. i decided that i am not going to DO ANY PARTICULAR DIET, instead i am going to eat exactly what i feed my family. i will have to stop abusing myself with food and control my portions. i know that i can do this if i put my mind to it. i quit smoking 5 years ago ( thats when i became addicted to sugar) so i know i can do this! i will read often and post some. :)

I am addicted to sugar and tobacco. So, well done on quitting smoking! :) I understand when you said that you will eat, what your family is eating. I know for myself that my binges are always in isolation. Now, at home, I have stopped eating in my room and eat at the table. I no longer bring the junk food home and hide it. I gave up regular soda, which has helped with the sugar cravings. I still have sugar in my diet, good or bad, I really haven't found the answer.
