The....idea for my diet came from watching a room mate I used to have. He ate nothing, but drank soda constantly (I call him Diabeeto) and he was a scrony little guy to say the least.
Anyway, before people start freaking out, no, I'm not copying his diet to the letter, however have been trying to find things that I can gorge on without it coming back to bite me in the ass. This came down to liquids. Dense, heavy, easily fills me up and I have a huge appetite. I eventually found a love for tea (sugar free of course. Just plain, good ole tea)
Sometimes I make it myself, but usually just walk to the grocery store and grab the huge jugs of Lipton Diet Green Tea (0 Cal, 0 Carb, lotsa vitamin C and some sodium) I'll on average go through a jug and a half of this stuff a day to stay full.
And no, I'm not completely going without eating. Breakfast is the same every morning; 4 eggs smothered in hot sauce, 3 strips of turkey bacon, Orange Juice and a crushed up One-A-Day (Lotsa rumors that these things just pass right through your system without being digested, so I hit one with a tenderizer every morning lol) I used to use steak instead of eggs, but that just got way to pricey. I also take a potassium pill (I noticed the One-A-Day didn't cover that one. Trying to avoid malnutrition)
I run on an elliptical every morning 6 days a week, as well as run an additional time later in the evening. Recently started doing a mile long hike every other day with a buddy also trying to get toned (I'll skip the second elliptical run on these days). I use my bowflex every other day and every day that I use it I have a protein shake an hour prior (Half serving though, I can only do so much with this bowflex and protein shakes have a lot of carbs and the like)
So, I wanted some outside eyes with experience to kind of take a gander at my diet. So far it works wonders, same time though I don't want to do any serious harm to my body. And if anyone knows of a way to loose the weight faster, I'm all ears =P
Off topic, anyone had any luck with weight loss supplements? Always been curious but never believed they do jack squat.
