Hi new guy from England

Hi everyone!

I'm a 27 year old guy from England looking for advice on building my upper body strength up and gaining lean muscle.

I'm 5 foot 8 ins tall and currently weigh 145 pounds.

What I would ideally like is to gain muscle in my arms and upper body and lose the fat around my belly.

Cardio wise i'm pretty fit and have a resting heart rate of 48 bpm.

My upper body is so weak though and I want to know where to start, what to eat to build strength ?
