I'm 20 years old.

I desperatley need to lose 10-20 pounds within a month or so and would immensly appreciate anyone who can tell me, specifically, what I would need to do to achieve this. I'm aware that there's probably not exactly too many healthy ways to lose 20 pounds in one month (even though I could manage to be cool with just 10!), however, I'm willing to temporarily take on some drastic measures if they'll garauntee success of achieving the amount of weight loss I'm aiming for within a 30to45-day time span.

So, yeah, I would be grateful BEYOND WORDS to absolutely anyone who could suggest an effective plan for me to follow for these 30-45 days, to anyone who could share some things that have worked for them in the past perhaps, or to anyone who could just simply be so kind as to provide me with a few decent tips on how I can go about reaching this goal successfully - whether what I need to do is healthy or, more likely, not. I've tried it all over the past two years, I truly have, and it's a 'drastic times call for drastic measures' type of deal now. I'm quite good at keeping weight off once it's off, so I'm not worried about gaining every last pound right back and then some after doing this, it's just the LOSING the pounds in the first place part that's proved to be near-impossible for me to do through average diet and exercise. I'm going to do whatever I have to do for this coming month / month 1/2 that I plan to do this, I just need someone to help me know what "this" is going to have to be. Again, thank you x10000000000 in advance to anyone who's willing to help me out with this, you're incredibly awesome.

Hey,

I'm sorry to tell you that there is no 'quick fix', you must go for the proper way of losing weight. Diet and exersize, however you can do it your own way.

First, I would have to know how much you weigh and how tall you are to determine realistically how much you could lose.

Best thing to do is sign up for a gym and go 3-4 times a week. Do interval running on the treadmill (5 mins walk, 5 mins jog, 5 mins run etc.. change how long to suit your fitness) and do some light resistance training (weights)

Most people will forget all the weights because they think that it's just for toning and building. The thing is, resistance training raises your metabolism for hours after your workout, i think it's up to 6 hours after a workout.

Don't try these 'quick fix' schemes, they is no such thing. They are short term fad diets that lose you a couple of pounds quickly but in the long term you will put more back on.

1 - Don't starve yourself. If you do this your body goes into 'panic mode' so it stores as much fat as it can because it thinks you're stranded in a desert or something. You must eat regularly. But eat the right things. I'm sure you know what healthy eating is.

2 - Keep motivated, if you slack then you wont be able to reach your target because it is so short term.

Hope I helped, it's my first post on here :')
