I'm a college student who has unfortunately put on quite a bit of weight in the last three years...it's so easy to spend a lot of time sitting and snacking while you study, especially on junk. I'm currently at about 150, and I'm 5'2". I am not happy with myself. I don't sleep as well, I hate shopping and finding things to wear every day, and my dating life has gone down the drain.
Basically that's who I am right now and why I'm here...I am hoping having the support will help me to get my life on track!
I'm just finding my way around here too, but I'm really liking the atmosphere so far. There's plenty of helpful tips and advice floating around here, which can only help with reaching your goal. Welcome and good luck!
Welcome! You'll find tons of support and advice here, as well as a bunch of people who are in the exact same boat as you! (Me included! This last year of college put about 30 lbs on me. )

I'd recommend starting a weight loss diary in the Weight Loss Diary forum. It's an awesome way to get some accountability. You definitely think twice about eating that extra piece of cake or pizza if you know you're gonna have to write it down later. *blush*
