Hello, I'm 42, 5'1.5", and weigh about 195lbs. I have spent nearly all of my adult life dieting and or exercising. I have taken about an eight year hiatus from healthy eating and exercise. I can honestly say this is the worst shape I've ever been in. I know I have to make a lifestyle change and eat healthy and move more. I have just become lazy. Maybe this site will motivate me to take better care of myself. My weight is causing plantar fascitis and high blood sugar. Not to mention my apple body type is really starting to look like an apple!

,eat, sleep, and so it goes each day. I am working on changing my mindset and hoping the longer, warmer, sunnier days ahead will inspire me to get outdoors and make my yard look good and give me much needed physical activity while keeping me out of the kitchen and off the computer. I may not post much, but I'll be reading. Absorbing motivation and words of wisdom from the rest of you.
