Hi Guys my name is Stephen. I've been working out for about 6 months now just trying to shed some pounds I have lost about 15 pounds so far. my goal is 50 pounds so I still have 35 to go! I thought I'd join and meet people who are trying to lose weight like me. I want to see what's working for other people so that maybe I can incorporate that aspect into my life. well that's all for now thanks so much for reading my Intro!

Hi Stephen and welcome to our forum.

Well done on your weight loss to date. You are doing great. The section on exercise will be of interest to you - since you say that you have been working out. Pay particular attention to the sticky threads.

We also need to pay attention to the calories that we take in (eat and drink) to give a calorie deficit for weight loss. You do not mention having modified your eating habits - but I am sure that you will have done so. There is a great section on nutrition which should help you there.

If you havent already done so - get yourself a free account from as it is really useful for plotting your food against your exercise to allow you to see your calorie balance - and also for giving you a nutritional breakdown of the food that you eat.
