Hi, I'm recovering from an eating disorder. I want to lose weight the healthy way :o)

Hey,
I'm recoverygirl! I've been eating disordered for about 4 years now. My weight has yoyo-ed insanely. Being a dancer, its really easy to get disillusioned and I am joining this forum to get perspective on healthy living.
I'm currently 155lbs and 5ft 4.5in, BMI 25.6.

I aim to reduce my body fat by dropping 15lbs which put my BMI at a healthy 23 and come to terms with my body.

I currently restrict to about 800calories a day and overexercise, running and/or swimming everyday. I really hope i can find inspiration to lead a healthy lifestyle.

If this is not the place for me, or I am in violation of any policies, please notify me and I will make myself scarce.

Sounds like your kinda in the same boat I am. I am not a dancer, but I am a college athlete. Idk about you, but it really gets me down mentally that everyone is skinnier than me on the team. I feel like I don't belong. I feel left out when we go to meets, and everyone can eat as much pizza, ice cream, and pop as they wants, and I am eating two slices and tons of salad with diet pop or water.
