I'm a 36 year old mother of 2 young boys, ages 3 and 4. I was an athlete when I was younger, and when I became pregnant with my first child, I just packed on the weight. It took me until the beginning of this year to get back into the gym. I had ballooned to 190 lbs., and I am 5'5".
Since joining the gym, I have lost 20 lbs. and I have tons more energy. I can see muscle tone again in my arms and legs. I'm addicted at this point, lol. If I don't go, I'm grumpy.
So my routine usually involves 20 - 30 minutes on the elliptical, at an intense pace, and then I work on a different muscle group with the Hammer Strength machines.
I'm not gonna stop until I have the body I want, and I'm looking forward to learning everything I can from others here!
