Well as the title says i'm new. I'm just sick and tired of being the weight that I am and i wanna lose it :)

I've already started and I've lost around 11 pounds :) I just want help and support like everyone else here to help me stay motivated :)

Welcome, This is a good place for support. I find when I'm having a hard time and wanting to stuff myself with goodies I read some of the posts here instead. It has helped me.
How much do you want to lose? It's great you've already started and have lost some weight already.

I want to lose around 55 pounds. I hope to achieve this something within the span of 8 to 10 months.

That sounds like a reasonable goal. I've lost 33lbs so far and have another 37 to go to get to my target weight if 140lbs.
 
Good for you! How did you do I?? I'm trying to do it with healthier eating styles and more exercise :) I'm trying out jogging in particular :)
 
Hello Kellie! I am new here too! Sounds like we have an almost similar goal (my goal is to lose 42 lbs). You've already lost 11 lbs? That is great! How long did it take you? A friend of mine lost 60 lbs in 3-4 months last summer through swimming for 1.5 hours per day. It was truly inspirational.

I'm counting calories, walking and exercising. I've replaced my empty calories with complex carbs and I'm eating a lot more fruit and veges. Now and then I also eat something I love like ice cream. When I do that I replace it with something else so I try not to go over my limit.
 
It's taken me around a month . And that's so cool :) I hope we both end up losing it all :D and whoa... That's fantastic!!
