Hi guys i'm new to this forum. I have started a cleansing diet and experiencing good results. I am about a week into the diet and the only problem i really have is once i lose the weight I tend to put it back on very quickly. Hopefully this cleansing works because I want to keep it off.

The best way to lose weight and keep it off is to change your eating and exercise habits for life. Which means no fad diets but just healthy eating, smaller portions and regular exercise.

It won't "work" unless you're cleansing for the rest of your life, unfortunately. To keep weight off you have to alter your lifestyle and possibly maintain it forever.

Like the last two commenters said, a cleansing diet is not going to help you keep the weight off at all. Some people do find them useful and they feel better after doing them, but making permanent changes is what's going to help you maintain your goal weight. Cleansing isn't a permanent change, it's only temporary.
