I'm new. My name is Jennifer. Trying to lose 20 pounds by the holidays. Lost 10, but kinda having a set back the past two weeks w/Halloween candy and eating out. Trying to get back on track now. Thinkin' my goal might have to be pushed out until New Year's. Anyway, here for advice, support, friendship. Gonna go check out the board now.

Definitely read the sticky threads in the various forums for advice and suggsetions.

Also I'd suggest registering for a free account with one of the sites like fitday.com or thedailyplate.com. That will help you see how much you're eating and where your nutritional levels are falling. For a lot of people, that gives them a good start of where to cut back or adjust their diets.
