hi i'm new with this forum

Hi everyone,

My name is Ani (pronounced as Are-nee). I'm going to be 32 this September. I'm still single. I'm standing at 160cm (5' 3").

I had try many products in past such as slimming pill, traditional herbs and replacement meal drinks. some work and some don't. Well for those who trying on this, better put a stop because as for me once I stop taking them, the weight creeping back faster and almost double before I start (eventhough I don't eat much).

Right now I'm 84kg (roughly around 185lb). I try to reduce my weight up to 65kg or at least my BMI hit to healthy rate. I've started joining a local gym. (Over here the gym membership is quite expensive). I've attended for almost 3 weeks (3 times a week). I know it's not enough but I need to start from somewhere right since it has been years since the last time I remember. As for diet, let say the holiday always ruined me *guilty as charge*. Hope I got few tips on the exercise machine...you know how many hours to put on the stationary bike or the crosstraining. I've decided this year is my year to get healthy for myself not for others.
 
welcome to the forum!!! we are actually the same height... although you are a wee bit ahead of me in the weightloss department... lol... good luck!!!

wow people with same height as me. so how's your journey so far? i got really slow metabolism right now.. so i need to get it increase somehow.
 
well i have been working on changing for about a week now... and already i am down 3 pounds soo thats very encouraging... i just need to step up my working out (ive been skipping alot lately...lol) ... soo tonight i am installing some music software... so i can change the music on my MP3... a wee bit sick of the music on it right now...lol

well i've been skipping a lot too. right now i just step up my weekly work out from 1 hour a week to 2 hours a week. my usual workout in gym usually consist of bicycle and crosstrainer elliptical plus leg press and leg extention workout. on alternate day i used treadmill (but only there's unoccupied since it's the popular choice of workout). i'm more on pear shape. the fat store at my thighs and hips...and also my cheek.
