hi i'm new too!

Hi there - i just got back from my hols and it highlighted a number of reasons why i want to and need to lose weight . . . I'm off back to my local slimming club tomorrow - if my courage doesnt desert me in the next 24 hours!
Here are my reasons:

*To feel healthier
*to feel fitter and have more energy
*to look better
*so i can stop shopping in Evans
*So i can bend down to fasten my trainers or put on my knickers without having to sit on the bed or trip over them!
*So i am more attractive to my husband - and maybe even other men hehehe
*to have more self confidence and self esteem
*to improve my aching back and joints
*so my wedding ring will fit again
*to give me courage to change the bad aspects of my life
*to live longer
*so i can paint my toenails
*so the skin on my heels doesn't crack and bleed
*so i can't rest my coffee cup on my stomach
*and the last one - for now - so i can actually wipe my ****!!!!
 
had a great week and am hoping to have lost between 4 and 5 pounds by tomorrow. Done better than i've done in years - and no booze at all!
 
Did better than I'd hoped and lost 5 and a half pounds. I got meaured this morning and I've lost 7 inches in total from my main 'bits'! hoping for around lbs this week then expect to settle for 1 -2 pounds a week.

Keep it up. It's great when you see results. Keeps you motivated to continue. I just started this program and I'm getting great results as well. Keep us updated.
 
HI I am new to this site and checking it our -working my way around here. Have been doing Cohens lifestyle for a couple of months and lost 11kg - 15kg to go(no too sure what that equates to in pounds) Anyway, just trying to stay focused and reading other peoples excitement and sucess will hopefully keep me motivated (Plus i want to to look great in swimwear for summer (no too sure about a bikini - due to jellybelly from kids- but hey ! you never know your luck,i might lose it all

Hiya spikey and welcome to the forum, well done on deciding to do something about it, you have got off to a good start by listing all your reasons, it will be great later when you look back at your list and say to yourself, wow i can do this now and that :) What slimming class are you joining? i wish you all the best on your weight loss journey
