I've been reading this forum for a while and decided to join... I'm trying to lose a lot of weight this summer, so I hope I can get some inspiration from this site!
 
Welcome, and remember, even though you said you wanted to lose "alot of weight this summer"....that slow and steady wins the race every time. The slower you take off the weight, the more likely it is that you will keep the weight off.

How much are you wanting/needing to lose???

Well, I know it needs to be slowly, but I can lose a little faster than I'm used to now because I've got the summer off and I'm working out more.
I need to lose at least 60 pounds to be in a normal range for my height, but I'd like to lose 87. I've already lost 23 pounds (but that's after a year).
