Welcome to the forum.
It is good and very important that you are careful and take your medication just as you describe.
You say that you do not like vegetables - but I think that you should look at that idea carefully. There are a lot of different vegetables out there - and I suspect that you do not like some vegetables but there are a lot of other vegetables out there that you do not really know whether you like or do not like them... That is a bit like saying that you do not like desserts just because you know that you do not like ice cream or jelly...
I will always remember having this same conversation with San here - and it turned out that she knew that she didnt like about 5 or 6 veg so had given up on all of them...
I suggest that you make a list of the veg that you know that you do not like and then check what other vegetables that you could try... Try a new vegetable every day until you have tried every vegetable that you find listed on the internet in the various veg lists...
As for exercise - I hated exercise when I was at school... It really was not right for me... I actually gave up exercise classes when I was at school when the opportunity arose to do extra maths instead...
I have however found that I love zumba... The music carries along and I find the dances a lot of fun... Maybe there is the opportunity to do something like that... If you do not like one kind of exercise - it does not mean that you do not like any of it...
When I started I was very big... Probably a lot bigger than you are... I can tell you that being very big is not a lot of fun... I had got so that it had an impact on my quality of life... I had pretty much stopped going out much at all...
I started off by walking... The pleasure from walking came in the sense of achievement and accomplishment for having done it... It was more work than fun... I could see that it helped me take control of my weight and I got pleasure from that too...
The exercise and healthy eating may not seem like much fun - and you might feel lazy - but it is well worth doing just the same... I could have had a lot of fun in the 20+ years that I was a very big person if I had been of a normal size and able to do everything that I had wanted to do... It is really not brilliant watching other people do things and wishing that you could join in... It isnt a riot of laughs walking along the street while idiots make make loud comments about your size (I hated it when that happened)...
For me - not eating junk and eating healthily and doing regular exercise (which I actually enjoy) is a small price to pay...
I suggest that you read the following thread - it may help you settle in and make friends
