Hi everyone,
I found this forum while out searching for info on my "diet" and some problems I have been having.
First things first I found out from my doctor that I have seriously high cholesterol and out of site tryglyceride levels as I had "let myself go" during the last few years I was not surprised except that I ended up with my pancreas being inflamed (not fun) we also found out that I have a malabsorbtion problem and I am dairy intolerant. Gluton seems to be a problem for me so off I went with my handy dandy medication I get to be on and a determination to get back to being fit again.
I used to always be a healthy eater so I switched back to my previous diet minus all the stuff I now can not have. It was working good until I injured my leg (flat feet are a problem) so now I am down to a slow crawl when out until I can see a specialist to help me. I guess I am just looking for some incouragement and to give some.
I am still determined and I will be using a bike rather than jogging for my cardio starting tomorrow.
I wanted to point out one thing to all the women on this site ( I am a health care professional) make sure you are taking a good vitamin on any diet!
