Hello, I'm Elle.
(That's part of my username, the 'lyric' part is because I write song lyrics.) Well, I stumbled upon this forum today and decided I would join..I would like the support and advice. I don't want to do this alone.
So, I'm currently at 219 lbs. I am exactly 6 feet tall. My goal for now is to get down to 160 lbs, so I want to lose about 60 lbs.
I'm working to cut bad things from diet, use portion control, and will begin to keep a food diary. But...my problem with trying to lose weight is that if I skip even one meal, I get very sick - I get a monster headache, very shaky, sweaty, weak, extremely hungry, and just feel terrible from not eating like every 4-5 hours. If I start to feel like that, I drink some OJ or a soda or I eat a candy bar, and soon the symptoms completely go away. I'm not sure what is, really..and I have only told one person about this, so nobody in my family knows. I'll just have to deal with it while loosing the weight, I suppose.
I could really use some exercise tips and workouts that can be done at home without fancy equipment. That'd be so helpful to me!
