hi all my name is dan im 25 years old in 2 weeks and i weigh around 20stone, which i believe is considered obese, im 5ft 11inches tall, and have decided it is time to act and turn my life around for the sake of my children and myself, i have recently bought a few bits of kit for my home gym, i have a weights bench with barbell and dumbells, i also have a cross trainer and a static exercise bike, but i am unsure how to utilise these for best results, i have set myself a goal to reach a weight of between 16 and 16 and a half stone so my first train of thought is weight loss, and then i intend to work on muscle definition, im not a stranger to weight training as i used to weight train regularly between the age of 16 and 20, but since becoming a family man i havnt been motivated enough to do much. Im currently not working so im housebound alot, all im really after is some tips on getting results with the equipment i have ie how long to use each and how often, and maybe some dietary advise as i know nothing about nutrition, and looking at guidelines on food simply goes over my head. All advise is welcome and truly appreciated. thanks again Dan
