Hi I'm 21 and have two sons

I'm a female in Dallas, TX

I'm focusing on toning up right now any pointers are appreciated .

Currently I can't run due to a knee injury but am doing the elliptical trainer and cyclling instead.

Is the craving for carbs normal when building muscle and how should I deal with it??

Can I eat Plain Cheerios and plain oatmeal more than 2 or 3 times a day?
 
okay so its not okay to have them for snacks throughout the day??
I thought it would've been a better alternative to like chips or something. I get light-headed real easy if I don't eat something every 3 hours.By the way I am already pretty much lean. I am 113 5'4"
 
Yep that's pretty lean, of course whole wheat grains, oats etc are better then chips.

I suggest you get a basic fullbody weight training routine if you want to build a little muscle IE get tone.
