Hi my name is coldfront I am 19 years old male I am 6"1 285 pounds I am on this forum looking for advice. I have been overweight since I was 5. I have tried to lose weight before but it's hard too motivate myself. And I don't have a plan. I have been in a slump for my whole
highschool career due to depression problems and I gains alot
of weight. But with help o have gains the motivation but nit the meens. I have very weird eating routines I can't eat. Fruits, vegis, I don't eat any meat besides chicken and I eat mostly pasta. And I don't realy go outside. But aside From school I can work out all I need too. I am in a weight training class but I can't manage to lose weight. This may not be the correct forum for this post. And it is a bit long bu I would appreciate any help. And sorry for errors I just woke up.
 
Coldfront, Congrates on taking the first step to success. First off believe you can do it and never beat yourself up if you have an off day. While being in the Air Force for nearly 11 years and seeing multiple traininers, there has been one thing beat in my head time after time. You don't need all the protien shakes or weight loss pills. A few small things to live by and you will see results, Guaranteed!

1. Drink WATER! Lots of Water! The old myth of 8-8oz glasses is not enough when you are active. Drink 80-90oz a day atleast.

2. 4-5 "Small" meals a day. Eat something rather then nothing. This will help lower your over all calorie intake. Eat slowly until you are satisfied.

3. Very important: Never miss breakfast. This goes back again to the "eat something rather then nothing".

4. Get atleast 20 mins a day of an aggressive workout a day, 3-4 times a week.

I promise you that you follow these four things and you will see results. Now, the hardest thing is not being discouraged. It might take you 5-6 weeks to see major results.

You can do it! I am doing it right now!
