Emm well why am I here.....

22 stone at 20 years old. Not from over eating but just eating the wrong things. Alcohol has played a big part in my weight.

Stopped drinking a month ago and not even had a craving for a beer. Used to knock down pint after pint midweek and at the weekend. Now a month on I feel fitter, although I havent weighed myself or told anyone what i'm doing.

I joined a gym, went to it but never payed any dividends. I find I get alot better work out with competitive sports so I have been trying to play them reguarly.

I want to strike while irons hot. No Drink! Exercise and maybe I can stop eating the junk which I see is the only obstacle between me and losing weight. I'm on here to hear other people stories and maybe get a bit of advice off of some people with more wisdom.

So hey everyone I hope to strike up a few friendships here.
 
Hello. It sounds like you're getting on the right track. You mentioned that you feel "fitter". I assume that means feeling better as a whole. Being active and eating right can really change things. Good luck.
