Hey everyone, my name is Michael and I'm a college student in TN. I grew up a swimmer, however my diet was (and to a degree still is) poor. When I got into college, I decided I wanted to bulk up instead of being skinny. I started working out this past June to try and gain weight with a seasoned fitness expert/ body builder. He has helped me out a lot but I do believe I should be getting 3rd party opinions as well. Here is what I've done so far...
I'm almost 20 years old, and I have not been physically active for about 2 years before starting to work out this past June.
I have went from 180 to 205 since then. My height is 6'2 and I have a large frame. However, I don't know my BMI.
I started out taking creatine and muscle milk (32g protein, 16g carbs, 12g fat). I have stopped taking the creatine and slowed down on the muscle milk because my goal is 210 (maybe 220 depending on how I look) at about 6% body fat. I gain weight easily haha!
So I'm here basically for extra work out and dieting tips! The diet is the hardest thing for me to get down, because it's what I'm least experienced in. I am not a noob at fitness but I'm not a guru either! I have time, I know this is going to take awhile, but I am in the gym everyday! With all that said, anyone got some good advice on workouts or diets? I work out one muscle group a day. Thanks!
