hi guys.... im new on here

so im still trying to figure out how to use this whole thing correctly but i just wanted to introduce myself. im jaci and im trying to motivate myself to have better eating and working out habits.. this year has been pretty touch losing some close loved ones and im ready to kick myself in the butt and lose about 20 lbs..... im about 5'4 and i weigh almost 160... i used to weigh 130 and im ready to try my best and give it my all to reach my target weight... i want to live a healthy long life and really most of all, I WANT TO FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF...so if u guys can give me any sort of advice on anything.. ur thoughts and suggestions are GREATLY APPRECIATED.. we r all in this together!
 
read around the forum - especially the stickied threads ad you'll get a lot of good advice...

Don't worry about what you used to weight -you might never weigh that again. COncern yourself with being as healthy as you can for right now...
 
Welcome to the community. :)

I've lost some very close friends recently, relatively speaking, and I've always used it as a motivation to do my best at whatever it is I set out to do. You only get one chance at this time on Earth.... it's up to you to decide what you're going to do with it.

As Mal said, read through some of the stickies and if you have specific questions, let them fire. You'll find what you're looking for here.
